My Experience in College Essay Writing

My Experience in College Essay WritingMy experience in college essay writing is one of many that I've had over the years. When I was in college, the study of English was one of the most popular courses offered by the university. This type of essay writing was a very important skill to have as an English major. The English department was one of the few departments at that time that actually cared about their students' intelligence, instead of just satisfying the test scores. As you can imagine, this kind of assignment is one of the best ways to earn academic credit for your English degree. In fact, the only requirement for completing a degree is to write an essay on a topic that was chosen by the student and the English department. Most all of the credits earned are based on the work done during the first two semesters. The same lesson was repeated at each of the four year colleges and universities that we attended. There were always different themes that were being studied and tested o n, such as the expansion of the American economy, the need for reformation, the ways in which more women were participating in society, and other interesting topics.Unfortunately, there were also some students who did not find this kind of assignment to be the one that they needed to learn. Instead, they often chose to spend their time off doing different things that would keep them from attending class or working on their coursework. They may have also found it difficult to balance their personal life with their studies. This problem was quite common with the students who were self-centered and wanted to be the center of attention, rather than work hard and pay attention to the class. This trait could be seen at the beginning of the period of the degree and continued on the whole duration of their studies. As the first semester started, they would usually tell us that they felt that we were 'no fun'. Later, there would be a variation of this theme where they said that their experienc e in college essay writing was the worst ever. Some of these students spent their time working full time jobs and then instead of spending the hours in class trying to improve their skills, they would sleep over at their friends houses. What we should have noticed at this point is that they were not telling us the truth, they were actually exaggerating their experience. A couple of classes later, the same student told us that he was unable to complete the required amount of homework in the last few weeks of the first semester. This was the first time that we realized how much of a waste of time and effort is done when a student feels that they are the only one going through the work, when in reality, other students are probably going through the same exact thing. The next semester, the first year students began to share their stories about the struggle of writing their essays. The first thing that they shared was how hard it was, how many times they thought that they were never going to finish it, and how frustrated they were with the essays that they had. If this is not the reason why you are not following your passion, you will find out soon enough.
